  • Planimetric features such as curbs, pavement and bridges

"Missing" Data

If you can not find a particular spatial data set in DataSF.org, then either 1) it does not exist, 2) it is of a sensitive nature and is not available to the general public, or 3) contractual obligations prohibit the distribution of purchased and/or licensed data. If you are a contractor doing business with the City, then please use your internal contacts to secure the appropriate spatial data set(s) for your work.

Building Footprint or Building Outline Data

The City has posted building footprint data to DataSF.org

Parcel Attribute Data

Parcel attribute data are available from the Office of the Assessor-Recorder. Please contact them directly to acquire the parcel attribute data on a compact disk (CD). Note that there is a fee for this service.

Questions?

Please do not attempt to contact SFGIS staff directly with inquiries about the availability of specific data sets. Instead, contact the San Francisco 311 Customer Service Center.
