The California State Enterprise Zone (EZ) Hiring Tax Credit is a state income tax credit for employers who hire job seekers from targeted groups. Employers can claim up to $31,605 in tax credits over a five-year period when they hire qualified employees. Employees must perform at least 50% of their work within the boundaries of the Zone. Employers must have an EZ Voucher to claim the credit. Only businesses located in San Francisco's Enterprise Zone are eligible to participate

Curbs and islands within the city rights-of-way. The data was develped by merging the 73 individual feature files of the Basemap into one citywide map. While the individual features files have not been updated since their development, the citywide file was updated to reflect changes along the Embarcardero corridor and along King St. Please note that the sidewalk widths (curbs) were derived from project working drawings and may not be as-builts conditions. There are plans by DPW to update the layers found in the features drawings.

The CityLots spatial data layer is a representation of the City and County of San Francisco's Subdivision parcels. Each of the 193,000-plus polygons has a unique BLKLOT identifier which is the Assessor Parcel Number (APN). Multiple level (condominium, live/work, et al.) lots are represented as well, with their ground or base lot being the MAPBLKLOT key.

Disabled Parking Blue Zones designate parking spaces for persons with a valid disabled parking permit. Blue zones are normally located in areas with high public use, such as in dense commercial areas, and near public parks and playgrounds, where the blue zones can serve a large number of individuals. Blue zones are not established for specific individuals or in front of private residences. There is no fee for establishing blue zones.

Speed limit column was added to a 1998 street centerline shapefile. Speed limits are indicated primarily for streets that have speeds higher than 25 MPH. 25 MPH is the de facto speed limit for residential and most commercial streets. Alleys narrower than 25 feet can have de facto speed limits of 15 MPH. The latter are not indicated specifically in this shapefile.
